Hi, I’m Kate, a creative artist, graphic designer, and photographer focused on creating the best projects to communicate ideas in a beautiful way. I’d love to help Tare Market tell their story, share their triumphs, and advocate for a more environmentally friendly consumer ecosystem. I’m able and willing to put in the work, passionate about the cause, and excited to communicate with the public and media about Tare Market.
I’m talented at developing unique custom designs to best showcase each project. Adobe CC, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Lightroom are my go-to software, but I’m also knowledgeable in several others and able to learn company-specific software and methodology quickly. While I haven’t used them as much as I’d like working part-time as a freelancer for several years to raise my child, I’ve kept up on all graphic design technologies and social media skills! For example, I’ve posted on behalf of Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church and, while working for them, Mpls Community Ed (for Lake Nokomis Community School, the location where I taught).
My family shops local and waste-free as much as possible. We are already regular customers at Tare, especially enjoying the chocolate-covered pretzels! Tare helps us in our endeavors to be a plastic-free home and helps us encourage others to live a sustainable lifestyle. Working with an organization that supports my priorities would mean the world to me and make my child proud.
Since I haven’t been asked by many of my clients to maintain their social media accounts, besides the examples above, I’ve also included these samples of potential posts I could publish for you. I used stock images and images I found on your social media; when working, I would come in and take my own photos.
