For this, I am my own client. My other passion is cooking and my husband loves baking, so we got together and started a blog – Sweetness and Spice, which I also designed. We aren’t great about posting because for us it isn’t an income stream, rather a beloved hobby, but every once in a while we get in the mood and post.
We’ve also written two cookbooks together (a third is already planned). I wrote the recipes, made the food, did all the photos and illustrations, and did the books’ layouts myself.

MIXED: A Cookbook
MIXED: A Cookbook, came out at the beginning of 2020. It’s a compilation of 13 seasoning blends and recipes that show you how to use them.
Eating Like We’re French
Eating Like We’re French was written as a fundraiser for French students at Roosevelt High School to offset the costs of their exchange trip to France this last spring. We raised about $1500 after expenses for the cookbook and event we held before the trip.
