A new logo for Weber Flavors Vanilla

Plus, take a look all the down to see my artwork for their all-natural food powders.

E.A. Weber & Company has been a creative leader in developing flavors for all facets of the food, beverage, and supplement industries for over a century. Historically specializing in vanilla, “sweet”, dairy, and natural fruit flavors, Weber Flavors now features a product library with an extensive and ever-growing variety of flavors from all over the world, in both liquid and powder formats, to meet rising trends and customer needs. (per their website)

Weber reached out to me in search of a new look for their Vanilla packaging. Since vanilla is their driving product, it didn’t make sense that it had their more generic logo depicting different types of fruit. They wanted it to be illustrative, detailed, and suggest the process of making vanilla extract from the vanilla orchid to the dried beans.

With the success of the vanilla logo, Weber came back and asked if I could make vector art showing their products morphing from the natural food to the natural flavor powders they sell. I worked on all the detail from scratch; these are all built-from-the-ground-up vector images, including the powder cascades, which I started with one single dot. This was a lot of fun and was also a huge success (though my husband still teases me when he sees me illustrating anything with circles or dots).
